Serving at The Table this Sunday, 2/14

This Sunday afternoon, February 14th, we have the opportunity to serve the homeless and hungry of downtown B’ham by preparing and serving at The Table. If you’ve done this in the past, thanks so much for your help. You rock, and you know how rewarding this experience can be.
Our menu includes lasagna, vegetables (corn and green beans), salad, rolls, and desert.
Lasagna – we need about 12 pans that can serve 10-12 people.
Vegetable – we need 4-5 pans of corn and/or green beans for 25 people. One large can from Sam’s or 8 “normal” size cans.
Salad – Enough for 120 people. This usually runs around $30 or less.
Rolls – Ditto the salad.
Dessert – we need 10-12 dozen cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc.
All items need to either be at DF, in disposable containers, by 2:45 Sunday afternoon or at the Firehouse Shelter by 3:15. Ditto those times if you want to come help serve.
